Entry Requirements For This Course

Open to graduates with at least six months’ humanitarian assistance or developing countries’ professional experience. Non-graduates, who are suitably qualified by higher study or research, and applicants with considerable satisfactory work experience with humanitarian organisations and evidence of appropriate in-service training will also be considered. ‘Field’ experience is desirable but not essential. International qualifications Applications from international students are welcome. International qualifications will be evaluated in line with the National Recognition Information Centre (NARIC) guidelines. English language qualifications The Liverpool School of Tropical Medicine’s courses are linguistically very demanding and it is essential that all candidates have a very high level of both spoken and written English. For candidates whose first language is not English, most programmes require a minimum IELTS score of 7.0 OR a minimum TOEFL score of 570 (paper based), or 88iBT.
