Entry Requirements For This Course

Entry requirements

You will need to:
1). Be working in a relevant health/social care environment, with management responsibility, in order that the learning outcomes of the course can be achieved.

Applicants will be asked to verify on application that they have sufficient work experience (normally working at NHS Band 6 or above) and have access to the appropriate health/social care practice. The workplace manager may also be asked to verify this where relevant.

2). Hold an honours degree (2.2 or higher)

Candidates who do not meet the academic requirements may still qualify for entry through relevant work experience. International students need to meet our English language requirement at either IELTS at 7.0 or above, and a minimum of 7.0 for each of the 4 individual components (Reading, Writing, Speaking and Listening).

In some countries where teaching is in English, we may accept local qualifications. Please visit http://www.uwl.ac.uk/international/your-country to check for local equivalencies.

We offer pre-sessional English language courses if you do not meet these requirements. Find out more about our English Language courses
