Established in 1920, Swansea University is based in the UK on the south west coast of Wales and is renowned for its research, excellent teaching, and diverse student community. The courses at Swansea are arranged into three Faculties including:
- The Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences
- The Faculty of Medical, Health and Life Science
- The Faculty of Science and Engineering
Outside of academic life, the students are encouraged to take part in extracurricular activities such as over 150 societies and sports clubs. Joining a club or society is a great way to meet like-minded people and make new friends.
The union are also responsible for running many other amenities on campus including bars, nightclubs, a travel shop, a health centre, a laundrette, and plenty of shops and eateries.
The University provides halls of residences on campus in the student village and also in the city centre.
