Outside of teaching time, students at Kent can take advantage of the facilities on site as well as the societies on offer. There is a sports centre for students, which includes tennis and squash courts, a gymnasium, a dance studio, and football pitches. There is also a nightclub on campus called The Venue, with the upstairs area being used as a live music venue, called The Attic.
