Criminology with Psychology BA (Hons)

New for September 2021 entry, this new course delves into the criminal mind and defines the nature of crime. Providing a deeper insight into criminology, discover the psychology behind criminal behaviour.

With the opportunity to focus on both of these overlapping disciplines, you’ll take a closer look at the study of criminology and the criminal justice system, and enrich this learning through the study of psychology. Both complementary areas hold strong social relevance to contemporary society in terms of diversity, social processes and social change, and crime and criminal justice; all explored from criminological, sociological and psychological perspectives.

The BA (Hons) Criminology with Psychology degree will provide the ideal platform for further specialisation in many careers, such as policing, prisons and probation services as well as postgraduate study.
