Psychology in Education BSc (Hons)

Through teaching that’s inspired by research and professional practice expertise, you’ll cover a range of psychological subjects designed to build knowledge and understanding of how to apply theory and research with an educational psychology focus.

Entry Requirements For This Course

For September 2025 entry: The entry requirements for this course are 112 - 128 UCAS tariff points including a minimum of 2 A-levels or equivalent. BTEC Extended Diploma: DMM. T-level requirements: Merit (120 UCAS tariff points).

Required Subjects: all subjects considered.

Please see below some examples of the international qualifications for entry onto Year 1 for September 2024 and and September 2025 entry:

  • China: Chinese Senior High School Graduation Certificate (Huikao) average 80%, or Gaokao 66%. Grade depends on the course
  • France: Baccalaureate with 12 overall or 11 (international option)
  • Hong Kong: HKDSE Diploma (4,4,3 from three subjects). Grade depends on the course
  • India: All India Senior School Certificate Examination (Standard XII) 65%
  • Spain: Titulo de Bachillerato with 6.5. Grade depends on the course
  • Turkey: Devlet Lise Diplomasi/Lise Bitirme Diplomasi 3.5/5.0 or 70%

If English is not your first language, you will need IELTS (Academic) 6.0 with minimum 5.5 in each component, or equivalent.

Foundation Year Entry Requirements for September 2025 entry: 48 - 72 UCAS tariff points.
