Please note: this course is full for September 2020 entry.
Accredited by the Nursing & Midwifery Council (NMC) against the NMC’s 2018 standards, our course in Children’s and Young Peoples’ Nursing will teach you the theory, plus all the analytical, diagnostic and practical skills needed to become a registered nurse for this particular demographic.
On this course, you’ll be taught by highly qualified and experienced lecturers, practitioners, and a diverse range of guest speakers, in our clinical and community suites, where you’ll become well-versed in the science and art of nursing children and young people.
To ensure you graduate as a confident and competent healthcare professional, fully prepared for practice, there is a strong emphasis on practical learning where you’ll complete the required number of hours and types of placements required for this course.
New for 2020: All nursing students on courses from September 2020 may be eligible for a non-repayable government training grant of at least £5,000 a year.
