About Keele
Keele University was established in 1949 by the former Vice-Chancellor of Oxford University. Founded to meet the needs of a changing world, Keele has always had a pioneering vision to be a different kind of university.

Our beautiful 600-acre campus is one of the biggest in Britain – but all the most important services and facilities are on your doorstep, with accommodation, teaching spaces, facilities including a medical centre, sports centre and pharmacy, and a range of shops, eateries and entertainment venues – including the Students’ Union – clustered around the centre.

Accommodation
We have over 2,800 bedrooms on campus, all within a short walk of central teaching spaces, shops, and food and drink venues.
Our Residence Life team supports students who live in halls of residence on campus, ensuring a community where students can relax, have fun, and feel connected, safe and secure.
We offer guaranteed accommodation on campus for September entry undergraduate applicants who make Keele their firm choice, and who apply for accommodation by the deadline date (Terms and conditions apply).
Student Support
We support every single student throughout their time at Keele.
If you need to talk to someone, whether it’s about your studies or life outside of them, we have a Student Experience and Support team based within every Faculty, offering one-to-one support and helping you to access any additional support you might need including financial guidance, support for disabilities, specific learning difficulties and long-term health conditions, support around wellbeing and counselling, or accessing our chaplaincy and faith services.
