The University of Northampton opended its new Waterside Campus in 2018. Northampton is one of the youngest universities in the UK but we’re already
leading the way in social impact. That’s why we were one of the UK’s first
‘Changemaker Campuses’, cementing our mission to help people make changes that will transform their lives and those lives of the communities around them.
The university is split into the following 3 key academic faculties, each delivering relevant courses:
- Health, Education and Society (FHES)
- Faculty of Business and Law (FBL)
- Faculty of Arts, Science and Technology (FAST)
The university has over 50 sports clubs and societies for students to take part in, and 24 of the sports clubs participate in the BUCS league (British University & Colleges Sport) on a Wednesday afternoon. Societies are mainly interest based, but there are also some faith-based societies.
Students can opt to live in student halls of residence on campus for their first year of study and these generally cost between £82 and £162 per week depending on the amenities you choose.
