GCE A Level - A minimum of 112 UCAS points from GCE A Levels, including one of the subjects recommended by the Department. Typical offer: BBC/BCC. The Department recommends one of the following subjects: Biology, Human Biology, Applied Science, Science.
BTEC - BTEC Extended Diploma/Diploma (Applied Science): distinction/merit profile.
Irish/Scottish Highers - BBBB including Biology or Human Biology.
International Baccalaureate - 26 points, including 5 in HL Biology.
