Entry Requirements For This Course

Entry requirements

You will need:

  • 120 UCAS tariff points at Level 3
  • GCSE English with grade C
  • GCSE Mathematics with grade A
  • A Level Mathematics or Statistics with grade C or above.

If you hold prior learning your application will be individually reviewed and your credentials recognised accordingly. In order to merit prior learning it has to come from experience and/or previous formal, non-formal and informal learning that is mathematically or statistically related. An entry test would assist in this judgement.

Mature students wishing to apply will be considered depending on their mathematical skills which will be examined via an entry test.

International students need to meet our English language requirement at either IELTS at 6.0 or above and a minimum of 5.5 for each of the 4 individual components (Reading, Writing, Speaking and Listening).

In some countries where teaching is in English, we may accept local qualifications. Please visit http://www.uwl.ac.uk/international/your-country to check for local equivalencies.

We offer pre-sessional English language courses if you do not meet these requirements. Find out more about our English Language courses
