Entry requirements
In order to be invited to a selection day, you will need to have:
Maths and English at GCSE / Level 2 or above (or equivalent)240 credits from a Diploma in Higher Education or Degree in Nursing - adult branch (or internationally recognised equivalent nursing qualification)If you have been qualified longer than 5 years you are required to have recent level 5 study, preferably in the nursing or health care subjectCurrent registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (Part 1) and have worked in the UK as a registered nurse, preferably in the NHS, for at least six months prior to applying.Satisfactory personal statement and reference on your UCAS application.All offers are subject to satisfactory Disclosure and Barring Service Check (DBS check), occupational health clearance and satisfactory references.
Students with international qualifications
As well as having the above qualifications or equivalents, you must be classified as a Home/EU student prior to starting the course. All students also need to meet our English language requirement at either IELTS at 7.0 or above,and a minimum of 7 for each of the 4 individual components (Reading, Writing, Speaking and Listening).
