Entry Requirements For This Course

If you're applying for Year 0:

A-levels: BCC or higher. Your grades can be in any subject, though we don’t consider General Studies.

BTEC Extended Diploma: Distinction Merit Merit or above in a relevant Extended Diploma.

Access to HE Diploma: 45 credits at level 3 with a merit profile or above. We accept a range of different Access programmes to join us on the MChiro course. Access to Health Sciences, Access to Science, Access to Medicine, Access to Nursing would all be accepted.

International Baccalaureate: Overall grade of 28 points or higher.

Scottish Highers/Advanced Highers: BBCCC or above from 5 Higher subjects.

Irish Leaving Certificate: Minimum of 5 subjects at Higher level, with grades H3, H3, H3, H4, H4 or above.

If you’re applying for Year 1:

A-levels: ABB or above. Your A-level subjects have to include Biology and one other science subject. We consider the following as a second science subject; Chemistry, Physics, Mathematics, Psychology, Sociology, Physical Education, Geography, Geology. General Studies will not be considered.

BTEC Extended Diploma: Distinction Distinction Distinction or above in a relevant Extended Diploma. In addition we require grade B or above in A-level Biology/Human Biology.

Access to HE Diploma: 45 credits at level 3 - at least 30 credits must be at Distinction, and the other 15 credits at Merit. All Biology modules will need to be a Distinction grade. We accept a range of different Access programmes to join us on the Master of Chiropractic course, including: Access to Human Health Sciences, Access to Science, Access to Medicine, Access to Nursing.

International Baccalaureate: Overall grade of 34 points with Biology at Higher level with a grade of 5 or above, along with one other science subject at Higher level.

Scottish Highers/Advanced Highers: Biology and one other science subject. These should both be at Advanced Higher Level, with grades AABBB or above.

Irish Leaving Certificate: Minimum of 5 subjects at Higher level with grades H2, H2, H3, H3, H3 or above. This should include Biology and one other science subject.
