Admission criteria reflects both Bangor University and Health and Education England HEE requirements.
All candidates will be interviewed, and will need to provide evidence to ensure that they meet the following criteria for admission.
Have a 2.1 or 1st class degree. If you have a 2:2 degree, your suitability will based on your personal statement and reference.
Be a UK registered doctor, nurse or dentist (2 years post qualification experience).
Have completed IELTS 6.5 or 7.0 where English is not the applicant’s first language.
Strong references and personal statement.

Evidence of access to an appropriate clinical placement to complete core practice based course elements.
Interview by university academic and clinical staff to confirm candidate suitability.
*Registered nurses without an independent nurse prescribing qualification will be able to apply for the Non-medical Prescribing module in year two of the MSc pathway. However, those nurses without an independent nurse prescribing qualification, and who exit the MSc pathway after completion of year one, will not be able to administer botulinum toxin treatments, unless supervised by a qualified prescriber. Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) will be considered for all modules, accept NHS-4426 and the dissertation module, in line with BU taught regulations.
