MA Social work is an academic qualification and crucially, is also a professional qualification. Our course is accredited by Social Work England which means you’ll be eligible to apply for registration as a social worker on successful completion of the course, explaining why over 95% of our graduates are employed within six months of leaving.

Social workers practice in areas including child protection, fostering and adoption, adult safeguarding, mental health, substance use, hospital discharge and disability.

Entry Requirements For This Course

A Bachelors Honours degree with 2:1 or equivalent in any subject. Applicants with a 2:2 will be considered if they have strong relevant work experience.
