Doctor of Philosophy (Health & Social Care) PhD

In the Faculty of Health & Social Sciences we conduct research in areas such as midwifery, nursing, leadership and dementia, as well as humanisation, nutrition and social work.

We collaborate with colleagues from other faculties to draw on their expertise when needed and we work closely with BU's research institutes and centres, such as the Dementia Institute, the Centre for Midwifery, Maternal and Perinatal Health and the National Centre for Post Qualifying Social Work, among others.

You can join our research community within the faculty when you choose to study your PhD at BU.
