Applicants for this module should hold professional registration with their relevant professional body.
In addition, nurses and allied health professionals should have a minimum of three years' experience. The DMP will be a GP, consultant or registrar.
All applicants should demonstrate clinical competency in the area of practice in which they intend to prescribe and have support from their employing organisation. Applicants must also have access to an approved Community Nurse Prescriber for mentorship purposes.
Applicants are also required to provide a current DBS (formerly CRB) check and to demonstrate numerical competency and the ability to study at an appropriate level.
