The Faculty of Science at the University of Strathclyde is one of the UK’s top ranking science faculties offering a wide range of undergraduate courses, postgraduate taught courses and postgraduate research opportunities, across a variety of subject areas - Computer and Information Sciences, Mathematics and Statistics, Physics, Pharmacy and Biomedical Sciences and Pure and Applied Chemistry.

We offer our students high quality teaching, informed by innovative research and strong links with industry, public and private sector organisations, the NHS and a network of global partners.  Based on the REF 2014 GPA Scores, Times Higher Education ranked Strathclyde as number one in the UK for physics research.  The Complete University Guide Subject Tables 2019 rank Strathclyde 1st in the UK for Pharmacology and Pharmacy and 2nd in the UK for Forensic Science.

The Faculty of Science has an excellent reputation in research across a wide range of academic disciplines.
