This online information session will provide you with an insight into how the three course areas (Acting, Contemporary Performance Practice and Theatre Practice) run, their entry requirements, audition/ interview process and much more. The session will also give you the chance to ask any specific questions that you might have. This event is for those interested in undertaking an undergraduate degree either this year (2022 entry) or beyond.

This open day is for those interested in the following courses: Acting, Acting Collaborative and Devised Theatre, and Acting Musical Theatre. This event gives you the opportunity to find out about each of the three courses, the audition process as well as information about how to apply and student support at Central. This event is focused on students who are looking to apply to study on this course for an October 2022 start. Central will be hosting an open day for the BA (Hons) Contemporary Performance Practice courses on Friday 1 October, from 12.00 - 5pm. This open day is for those interested in the following courses: Drama, Applied Theatre and Education, Experimental Arts and Performance (named Performance Arts for 2021 entry) and Writing for Performance. This event gives you the opportunity to find out how study is enabled on all three of our Contemporary Performance Practice courses via industry placements, specially funded projects (both nationally and internationally) and mentoring from both Central’s permanent staff and vast body of visiting professional lecturers. There will also be an opportunity to ask any questions that you have to our lecturers as well as hear from our Student Advice Service. Please note - if you wish to apply for BA (Hons) Acting, this event will not provide you with information on your course of interest and no staff or students will be around to talk to you about this area of study. All students interested in BA (Hons) Acting should book to attend the virtual BA (Hons) Acting Open Day on 28th September 2021.
