Admission to the course is by direct application to the Centre for Educational Development
To be eligible for the course you must be employed (at least part-time) in a teaching and/ or learner support role within higher education. Participants will normally have at least a first degree awarded by an approved UK or overseas university, or a professional qualification
You must demonstrate that you have sufficient breadth, depth and quantity of teaching and/or learner support practice within your professional role to enable you to show engagement with the range of areas of professional activity required of the UK Professional Standards Framework
Participants who have previously been enrolled as associate students to study the module 'Learning and Teaching in Higher Education (GTAs and P/T Tutors)' will be permitted to proceed onto the full programme only if they satisfy the normal entry requirements for the programme. If such participants do move onto the full programme they will need to study the remaining two modules: Inclusive Curriculum Design and Teaching Practice and Professional Development.
