The University of Leeds boasts of one of the largest libraries in the UK, with more than 2 million books in catalogue, not including electronic resources available online. The University is also proud of its recently opened fitness center called The Edge, which features a 25m swimming pool, sauna and steam room and over a hundred exercise classes available weekly. The Edge also houses several sports halls, an outdoor court, squash courts and a climbing wall.
