Undergraduate Level Courses: Degrees

If you have completed your A-levels or equivalent further education, the common next step in education is to study for your first degree. These courses are usually known as Bachelors degrees in Arts (BA) or Science (BSc). Undergraduate degree courses typically take three years to complete and may involve a sandwich year in industry.

Our Undergraduate Mini Open Day is designed to help you get to know Essex. The day will be shorter than one of our main Open Days, but if you want to go on a guided tour around campus, or just get a feel for the place before you submit your application, we're here for you.Everyone is welcome, so bring your friends and family along and discover more about studying at Essex.You will be able to chat with staff from our academic departments to find out all there is to know about your subject.The day will begin at 12pm (midday) and finish at 4pm. When you arrive on campus, head to the Ivor Crewe Lecture Hall to check in.
